The Piaroa Bible translation team has been working on translating the New Testament since 1994. Previously, we have only been able to provide parts of the New Testament in limited quantities for the Piaroa people to use. Typically, only teachers or pastors have had their own photo copy booklets. Now, at last, a high quality translation of the completed New Testament is ready to be printed and gifted in the hopes that not a single person will be without their own personal Bible. Included also are most of Genesis, Exodus and key portions of the Old Testament.
Now, you can have an integral part in providing the Piaroa people with their very own long-awaited Bible containing the completed New Testament and Old Testament portions. After years of faithful Bible teaching by several missionary families, there are thousands of serious believers and an estimated 10,000 professing or seeking God. Among the serious believers, there are 112 churches scattered across 300 kilometers of dense rain-forest which the Piaroa people call their home. Large gatherings of 1,000-2,000 people are regular and common among the diverse areas of the nation as these people have a rare and incredible hunger for God’s word.
The Piaroa people are spiritually hungry, and this printing of the New Testament in their heart-language is crucial for their continued growth and maturity.
Update: The original cost of each Bible was $15, but we found another printer, Buena Semilla, who brought the price down to $9 per Bible. Buena Semilla then said that they would help us by subsidizing 50% of the cost of the Bibles. So now, just $4.50 will provide a Bible.

Update Sept 2022: The original shipment of 20,000 Bibles was sent and was well received. Now there is a need for another 15,000 Bibles.
Additionally, the Lord has blessed us with the golden opportunity of broadcasting a daily radio program into the entire Piaroa territory. This radio broadcast will consist of verse-by-verse Bible teaching, topical Bible series, personal interviews, music, and much more. Galcom has a minimum purchase of 1,000 radios. We therefore need a minimum of $30,000 for this additional radio project. Every $30 raised will provide a radio to an individual family or village living in dense, remote rain-forest community. The purchase of even one radio could have a remarkable impact on 100’s of people.
Update: The original cost of each radio is $30, but Galcom said that they would help us by subsidizing 50% of the cost of the radios. So now, just $15 will provide a radio to an individual family or village community. Our updated goal is now to provide 10,000 radios. So, we need $150,000 to accomplish this.
