- What, exactly, does the tabernacle of David represent? In the new covenant there is only one mediator between God and man. This is the Lord Jesus Christ, the living Word of God, and he is presently seated upon a heavenly throne, high above all things (Psalm 138:2). The ark is a representation of Jesus Christ. It is also a representation of how our reconciliation with God the Father is made possible. The tabernacle of David depicts the heavenly realm touching the earth. It is a living, prophetic parable of how we may come into a direct and personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ without intermediary clergy or religious, legalistic ritual. As a result, we may become registered as citizens of heaven (Hebrews 12:18-24).
The Fullness of the Tabernacle of David will be Restored at the Second Coming
The once-and-for-all blood sacrifice at Calvary was required in order to put the new covenant into effect. However, the fullness of what is represented by the tabernacle of David (with the ark as its sole piece of furniture) will be restored at the second coming. In that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen and close up its breeches; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old … (Amos 9:11–12, Acts 15:16) When God decided to cut off the corrupt house of Eli he said: And I will raise me up a faithful priest that shall do according to that which is in my heart and in my mind, and I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before my anointed [Heb. Messiah] for ever. (1 Samuel 2:35) The faithful priest for whom God would build a sure house could not have been Samuel. The fact that he will walk before God’s anointed (Messiah) forever means that this does not refer directly to Jesus Christ. The only sure house that I can see that fits this bill is the house of David (1 Samuel 17), which continued in God’s favor until the birth of Jesus Christ, and in Christ the royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9) of the order of Melchisedec (Psalm 110:4) continues forever; this even includes us if we are in Christ (Revelation 1:6). And in mercy shall the throne be established and he shall sit on it in the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking judgment and hastening righteousness (Isaiah 16:5).The prophetic numbers of the Psalms, once decoded according to their trajectory through the Scriptures, unlock the stunning messianic narrative that will soon take place.

- The book of Job fits chronologically between Genesis and Exodus describing events that took place more than one hundred and fifty years before Moses wrote the Pentateuch. Job was the first book to be written in fully developed Hebrew and is undoubtedly one of the first books in the history of mankind. Out of fifty-six references to Satan in Scripture fifteen occur in Job. God chose to enter into a wager with Satan, with all of heaven looking on, regarding whether or not Job would remain faithful to God even if Satan were allowed to destroy Job’s possessions and even his health. This caused a situation on earth that did not fit any of the politically correct philosophy that had developed after the flood. In the end Satan, along with his cruel tactics, subtle deception, and even his system for world domination is completely exposed. Much of the book, however, is written in code that is prophetic of what is happening and about to happen today. Versions Available For Any Donation:

- The darkness that will come upon the people of God at the beginning of the day of the Lord shall not be the same as the affliction that came upon her when Jesus came the first time. The end of the age of grace will not be as dark as the end of the age of the law because the [Gentile] people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; those that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined. Yes, it’s true that great apostasy has engulfed much of Western Europe and seems to be making quite a bit of headway in North America. But what about places (to name a few) such as China, Iran, Egypt, Venezuela, Cuba, Brazil, Colombia, Africa, and even India, where the gospel is surging? Most of the end-time harvest is taking place under great adversity and persecution. So, for now it can be said, As thou hast multiplied the nation [the people of God], thou hast not increased the joy. But the day of the Lord will be the biggest game-changer ever seen in human history. For those among the people of God who have clean hearts when Jesus returns, They shall rejoice before thee as they rejoice in the harvest and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil, even as all the kingdoms of this world crumble and come down. - This Battle Plan for spiritual warfare, gleaned from the life and message of Jesus, especially the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes, was on my heart even before I was kidnapped by terrorists and held hostage under extreme conditions in 1983. Since then, thousands of missionaries, pastors, and other Christians have been kidnapped, murdered, or forced to flee from their places of ministry in rural Colombia. Had these Christians known and understood this Battle Plan for spiritual battle, they could have been victorious instead of prematurely suffering defeat. Versions Available For Any Donation:

- The book of Hebrews was written at a time in which the nation of Israel had rejected, condemned, and crucified their Messiah, Jesus Christ. Extreme judgment loomed on the horizon and it would not be long before Roman legions destroyed Jerusalem and the temple. Jesus’s prophecy that not one stone would be left upon another was fulfilled close to the year AD 70 (Matthew 24:2). God used the writer(s) of the book of Hebrews to send a final warning to the disobedient Jewish nation as the age of law was ending, which also applies to disobedient denominations as the age of grace is ending. This warning has also applied to individual Jews or Christians ever since it was written almost two thousand years ago.Whenever there has been great apostasy, God has always had a faithful remnant. The book of Hebrews encouraged the faithful remnant among the apostate nation of Israel so that they abandoned Jerusalem and Judea before the ax fell, and they scattered all over the known world preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. Today, God’s faithful remnant is much, much larger. It would be a terrible tragedy if the age of grace were to end like the age of the law. It is true that a great falling away is prophesied prior to the second coming, and even though this is happening, I believe there can simultaneously be a great end-time harvest of souls (of those producing the fruit of the Holy Spirit) and that this is also prophesied. - The Jewish remnant left Babylon and returned to Jerusalem. They carried the vessels of the Lord and restored the altar. With rejoicing they laid the foundation, and rebuilt the house of the Lord. Some revivals in church history, such as the Reformation and the Great Awakening, echoed the events described in the book of Ezra and also the prophets Haggai and Zechariah. The book of Nehemiah takes place during a different generation. Many years have passed but things are no longer well in Jerusalem. The “wall” is broken down, and the “gates” are burned with fire. God’s people are at the mercy of their enemies. No one can tell who is in and who is out. Affliction, reproach, and disorder prevail. Sound familiar? Nehemiah means, “the Lord comforts.” We know that the Comforter is the Holy Spirit. The book of Nehemiah is both historically accurate and a prophetic parable. Not only the end times, but also of the coming kingdom age of righteousness and justice. In this living parable, Nehemiah represents the earnest – or down payment – of the Holy Spirit that was poured out at Pentecost and the transition into the fullness of the Spirit promised for the end time. - Pilgrim’s Progress is an allegory about how to walk as a Christian. The entire book is presented as a dream sequence. Evil accompanies Christian, disguised as someone who would help him on his journey to the Celestial City. He will meet characters such as Pliable, who turns back at the Slough of Despond; and Ignorance, who believes he’s a true follower of Christ when he only trusts in himself. Each character is an allegory which are profoundly accurate. Christian will travel through the lands; Slough of Despond, the Wicket Gate, House of the Palace Beautiful, and the Celestial City. When the pilgrims end up in the Land of Beulah, they cross over the River of Death. Their depiction represents what we see around us and what we see in ourselves. While Christian is injured and nearly killed, he eventually prevails to the end. So can you. The best part of Pilgrim’s Progress is that the Bible verses are added to the text. The original Pilgrim’s Progress editions listed the Bible verse references. However, the verses written out within the story impact the reader when read inside the scenes in this allegory. The text is tweaked just enough, for the young and the old, to make it readable today. Youngsters in particular will be drawn to the original illustrations. The words and imagery create a word story that create wise examples that young readers can understand and integrate into their personal and spiritual lives. This beloved example of Christian literature will be essential to the readers life as proven from its continuous publication over the past 300 years. Versions Available For Any Donation:

- What is the greatest danger to the Christian life? Is it the government or the next pandemic? Is it the wrath of unbelievers or exposure to their lifestyles? The life of a committed Christian is often fraught with difficulty and danger, yet this is not something that should be seen as abnormal. The apostle Paul dealt with trials and was in jeopardy throughout his entire ministry, even to the point of being incarcerated for his faith. Even so, he knew that the greatest danger to the Christian life comes from within us. Namely, the insatiable and unchecked desires of the flesh, of which he also referred to as the “old man.” Paul understood that the flesh must be dealt with before believers can ever come to maturity in Christ, therefore this was a matter he addressed within most of his epistles. In totality, Paul teaches that we must be crucified with Christ so that we can live by the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh. This is because he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that sows in the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life (Galatians 6:8). How can this be our reality? In this latest book, The Prize of the High Calling of God, author Russell M. Stendal examines the entirety of the epistles Paul wrote while imprisoned in Rome. As always, with Russell’s gift for seeing both the finer details and the larger picture, he helps the reader to see that they can individually take hold of what God has for them, in Christ, and by the Holy Spirit. For easier study, the scriptures are included inline with the commentary. The book of Proverbs has to do with acquiring the understanding and wisdom to interpret parables and the words and enigmas of the wise (many of which are prophetic). It especially uses contrast as a method of making its point on multiple levels. Versions Available For Any Donation:

- Throughout the long history of the church, men have searched in vain to discover the ideal model for the corporate structure of the church. No hierarchy is clearly spelled out in the scriptures except what the Spirit says through Paul in the letter to the Corinthians or the Ephesians. Nevertheless, throughout the age of the church, many individuals and groups involved in wars and with blood on their hands have not hesitated to attempt to build the temple of the Lord in the form of a given denomination, group, or organized movement. These attempts resulted in building dead monuments instead of joining living stones that would be a light unto the nations. Man measures success according to the criteria of this world, the number of participants, or some other outward measurement, while God measures success by righteousness in the heart and obedience to His Word by those who have learned His ways. - The book of Ruth records historical events that literally happened, but it is also a living parable with great spiritual and prophetic significance. This is the love story of Ruth, symbolic of the bride of Christ, and Boaz, the kinsman redeemer, who is symbolic of Jesus Christ. Ruth was the third gentile woman (after Tamar and Rahab) to be incorporated into the bloodline of Jesus Christ and became the great grandmother of king David. Boaz is the eleventh generation of the line of Abraham. What a wonderful, delightful time in the history of the town of Bethlehem and of the people of God.All these events would lead to the advent of Jesus Christ, prophesied as the seed of Abraham and the son of David. The genealogies in Scripture all culminate at the generation of Christ in which we, like Ruth, may be included by faith and grace as part of the redeemed body of Christ. - Paganism is making a comeback in the secular western world, and the subsequent licentiousness has invaded the culture of large segments of Israel and the church while at the same time the opposite error of legalism compounds itself in other sectors (legalism also influences the beliefs of many Muslims). Some think we have come full circle back to the perversion and confusion of the “Roman Times” that were close to their zenith when the Apostle Paul wrote to all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints.… This letter, along with other key passages of Scripture, undoubtedly played a major role in the fall of pagan Rome and its conversion to Christianity while at the same time helping to neutralize legalism and win Jews for Jesus Christ. The finely balanced message contained in this letter is desperately needed today. Key terminology used by Paul has been subject to a continual attack by the enemy as, over the centuries, Satan and his cohorts attempt to redefine the vocabulary of God and meddle with every doctrine (Proverbs 18:1). The faith of a true believer is not just a “head” knowledge of historical facts along with the dry letter that kills, it is a sustained “heart” commitment to total dependence upon God. Grace is much more than “unmerited favor;” it is the power of God to change and transform us so that in Christ we may overcome sin, the flesh, the world, and the devil. - Peter made all the classical, Christian mistakes. He spoke before thinking, lacked faith, and even denied the Lord Jesus Christ. But Peter had a moldable, open heart, and the Lord knew it. All the mistakes Peter made helped him understand what other Christians face, and his writings both warn and encourage readers today. Too many of today’s religious entities and Christian individuals are functioning on spiritual autopilot, rarely pausing to pray in earnest and seek the Lord’s will for their lives. Peter says if we lack the things of the Lord, we are blind and walk by feeling the way with our hands (2 Peter 1:9). His writings serve as an eye-opener for those who want to live for the Lord completely and without reservation. Versions Available For Any Donation:

- What if we have it wrong? What if happiness is not found in having a better paying job, a wife and three children, knowing the right people, or even going to church? What is the secret of successful living? After getting more gold, wives, fine houses, and wisdom than any other man on earth, King Solomon discovered the secret. The book of Ecclesiastes is not as much a book of lament for himself as it is a message for the people, for us. Having attained it all, King Solomon wants to leave us with his final conclusions. Let him show you how to store up treasures in heaven, treasures that surpass even those of him who gathered all things under the sun. - The Gospel of Mark speaks of the Son of God who will soon return and manifest an incorruptible kingdom. His kingdom will differ greatly from the kingdoms of men. When Jesus said that ‘his kingdom is not of this world’, his disciples were very disillusioned. They did not understand that Jesus came to announce a very different kingdom. He started his kingdom by planting an incorruptible word, (for he is the living Word of God). The history of the church is filled with people trying to take over the corrupt kingdoms of this world. They do this in the name of God. However, Jesus was ordained and approved by God. At the Last Supper, Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me (John 13:20). The kingdom begin with receiving Jesus. Versions Available For Any Donation:

- The Great Pyramid of Giza conceals prophetic secrets, detailed numerology, and insights into end times. It has been called the Bible in stone. However, a mistake was made on one of the corners and the key passageways (which are really time lines) throughout the pyramid were offset by the Correction Factor (numerically 42). The huge capstone that should have gone on the pinnacle was discarded because it would not fit. This important detail (Jesus is the stone that the builders rejected) ties in with many clues from the book of Zechariah to show how the Lord will rectify the damage done by man, using the correction factor. In this edition, we dig deep into the signs, the wonders, and the genuine Christian’s role in the soon-to-be-fulfilled book of Revelation. We even go back to the prophets to help clarify what is the most important message to Christians today. The book of Revelation should be of intense interest to today’s Christian. It describes not only the persecution that originates from Satan, but also announces the day when God will intervene and cleanse the earth. This is definitely something to look forward to if we are right with him. Not so much for those living for themselves. Versions Available For Any Donation:

- The writings of John have a very special focus on God the Father. Many people who know Jesus, or claim to know him, have a limited or nonexistent personal knowledge of God the Father. It is, of course, essential for us to know Jesus. His fervent desire is that we may also know the Father so intimately that we can ask him and our prayers may be granted. We can have such deep and intimate communion, by the Holy Spirit, with Jesus and the Father. Through that relationship others can see our love for one another. - The kings of Israel and Judah were in serious trouble with the Lord. Many years of worshiping Baal and golden calves, listening to Jezebel, and killing the prophets was catching up to them. Their earthly kingdoms were coming to an end, and the Lord would move quickly when he moved. What appeared to be harmless details to them was in fact rebellion in the sight of God. While the kings served the gods of this world, Elijah and Elisha did not. They were dedicated only to the Word of the Lord, and if the Lord didn’t speak directly to them, they didn’t move at all. And when they did move, it was with the authority of the Lord, resulting in dramatic calling down of fire from heaven, a three-year drought, people raised from the dead, and many other miraculous events. But did Elijah and Elisha take any glory? No, Elisha didn’t even accept Naaman’s token of appreciate – so completely was he relying only on the Lord’s provision. The lives of Elijah and Elisha, as well as the corrupt lives of the kings, serve as important lessons for us today. In addition, there are many prophecies in 1 and 2 Kings that are now being fulfilled. In fact, the entire account is filled with living parables that are relevant today. The last Chapter of 1 Kings ends with the prophetic ministry facing serious jeopardy. The first Chapter of 2 Kings opens with an awesome supernatural vindication of God's prophet. Even Elijah seems to have been unaware of exactly when the timeline went past a tipping point into a new day in which the true prophets were never forced to retreat. - The past one hundred years or so have seen great advances regarding the spread of the gospel all over the globe, where it thrives amid adversity. However, some prosperous Western democracies have seen the numbers of Christians peak and then decline. Seemingly high-powered ministers, along with some of their enthusiastic followers, have succumbed to corruption (in their personal lives, in their finances, or both). Reacting against the ever-increasing perversion all around us, some groups have pursued increasing legalism, leaving them virtually powerless. Many congregations have failed to retain young people and are dwindling as the older saints die off. Church splits have reached epidemic proportions. and have become the bane of Christianity. How do we return to the purity, power, and unity of the early congregations described in the book of Acts? They turned the world upside down in just a few years, even without any of our modern tools or media. What will it take to finish fulfilling the Great Commission according to the will of God and for there to be a perfect bride, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, when our Lord Jesus Christ returns? According to Luke, before Jesus ascended, he told his disciples, behold, I shall send the promise of my Father upon you, but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye are endued with power from on high. This promise is still valid. If we are to be clean and effective witnesses for our Lord Jesus Christ, we will be wise to not leave home without being endued with power from on high.
