  • For every $40 donation, we will send you an English Jubilee Bible and we will send 2 Spanish Jubilee Bibles to Persecuted Believers in Latin America The Jubilee Bible is inspired by the early Reformation Bibles. This modern translation focuses upon the usage and context that define each key word. Russell Stendal edited each word to be consistently translated according to the main or first usage of each Hebrew or Greek word. “Instead of revising “forward” towards modernism and employing modern scholarship. textual criticism, and the like; it has been our intention to revise “back” and return as close as possible to the roots of the pure message and pure language.”

  • The Hidden Agenda is the story about God's agenda. The Stendals spent years reaching out to all factions across Communist Colombia. As a result, Cuba leaders agreed to host a diplomatic meeting to end the Colombian civil war. Marxists guerrillas, right-wing paramilitary leaders, and Colombian government representatives each arrived and attempted to negotiate according to their own agenda. However, each warring group agree to allow Christian missionaries to pray with them. As a result, Guerrilla commanders and communist leaders asked for prayer to be healed. Army generals meet in daily prayer. Paramilitary commanders asked their many victims, one by one, to forgive them.   The Stendals rejoiced as the Lord movingly healed those willing to love their enemies.

  • Rescue the Captors 2 continues the story of Russell Stendal's ministry to the guerrillas who kidnapped him in 1983. Russell, however, knew that God wanted him to witness to his captors.  He, therefore, began reaching out to the jungle guerrillas using airplane drops and free Christian books.  Russell eventually found his former captors and shared with them God's love and forgiveness. One day, his former captors, now regional commanders, reached out for help.

  • Are you looking for a study on the Beatitudes? Russell's book is filled with insight and we know you will be blessed. "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." I love a good fight. When the enemies of the Lord unjustly attack me, I seek the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit calls us to retaliate evil with good. There is a difference between a peacemaker and a pacifist! Terrorists kidnapped me in 1983. I was held hostage under extreme conditions. Since then, thousands of missionaries, pastors and Christians have been kidnapped or murdered.  Many were forced to flee rural Colombia. The Battle Plan, gleaned from the life and message of Jesus, rested upon my heart for years. The Underground Church multiplies across a region (about the size of North Korea), in the south and east of Columbia.  For more than 25 years, Bibles, Church Buildings, and House Meetings were prohibited. Many of those who chose to remain live in danger. They now rally around the message of good replacing evil. Severe persecution in rural Colombia actually served to bring real Christians together.  Believers now recognize the true church.  Their trials helped cleanse believers from corruption so that the Promises of God can be fulfilled. A life lived by the Beatitudes is God's plan to overcome the evil of this world.  Jesus shows us the way to victory for God's kingdom over all other kingdoms. Learn more about Russell Stendal

  • Uncommon Character is an inspiring book filled with unforgettable people. It is an anthology about people who changed their world in remarkable ways. Each story seeks to reveal an uncommon character that was tested by challenging circumstances and difficult choices. Specifically, these are stories of individuals who were drawn into pivotal situations within their respective cultures and times. The stories are about people morally tested while facing physical travails. "I found an unattributed quote that encapsulated the noted responses as, "If you give a man a fact, he will learn; if you give him a truth, he will believe; if you give him a story, it will live in his heart forever." I found that "people of all ages love true stories... that have the power to guide and motivate. The primary purpose is to let our attention linger on those people, while caught up in those situations, still refused to comply with popular and profitable wickedness.  Instead, they retained a hold on truth and goodness, thereby acting as a light in the darkness that continues to illuminate the right choices for generations to come." These are unique tales told with zest and are easy to read. You will find that many of these lives are both ordinary and complicated. Some of these people you might know, while others are new friends. You will be introduced to both living people and historical personalities. However, each story centers upon that individual's character. The reader will find that every life committed to building strong internal character can make an impact in the world around them. Readers will depart with an abiding conviction about the difference one committed life will make. No matter our past or where we find ourselves today, these inspiring lives will inspire us to finish well.

  • The Book of Daniel is a study and commentary about the many images, themes, and prophecies central to God's Word. God explains to us that many devastating events will come to pass. God also warns us that they will not be changed before the end of the world. The study also examines Daniel as a model of the Christian life. Inside the Book of Daniel, each verse and sentence is dissected to unveil great prophecies.  Consideration will be examined to determine which are coming to fruition today and relevant to our current generation. The Book of Daniel is studied in-depth in this commentary. The author defines words and phrases typically ignored.  He also expounds on the prophetic times and seasons. These prophecies are clear and indisputable. As the author points out, Christ intended that we should know the times and seasons so we can watch for His return. The Book of Daniel has so much to teach the believer and is a beacon of hope and readiness, the hope that God will make all things right and the readiness that His plans are unfolding even as we are living and even as Daniel lived. The Book of Daniel is produced from a series of messages by Russell Martin Stendal, while in Colombia, South America. The book was originally written in Spanish. This book was later translated into English to encourage Christians in the western world.

  • The prosecutor made his opening statement projecting only hatred and contempt toward my father.  He accused a missionary charged with rebellion. The police arrested him the night before by covertly setting a trap. The press shamed and ridiculed him nationally and internationally. They proclaimed his guilt on headline news before the hearing started. The cold demeanor of the judge terrified us and the odds seemed to be undeniably stacked against my dad. I looked at the judge's stern, intimidating eyes and wondered what my father would decide. She laid the choice before him. He could face the trial (and be charged with 15 years or more in prison if she declared him guilty) or leave Colombia forever. "Choose the States," I prayed, "Who knows what will happen to you here."
This book recounts some of the most important stories of my life including how I found true love and how my father, Russell M. Stendal, was arrested and falsely accused of terrorism. - Alethia Stendal

  • Revelation Unveiled: Understanding the Heart of Jesus In the Imminent Day of the Lord

Sadly, many commentaries on Revelation ignore the need to have a clean heart in order to survive what’s coming. In this edition, we dig deep into the signs, the wonders, and the genuine Christian’s role in the soon-to-be-fulfilled book of Revelation. We even go back to the prophets to help clarify what is the most important message to Christians today. The book of Revelation should be of intense interest to today’s Christian. It describes not only the persecution that originates from Satan, but also announces the day when God will intervene and cleanse the earth. This is definitely something to look forward to if we are right with him. Not so much for those living for themselves.

  • Faith and grace need to be understood and applied now more than ever. Paganism is making a comeback in the secular western world. Uncontrolled sin has invaded segments of Israel and the church. At the same time, legalism compounds itself across other churches and Israel. (Legalism also influences the beliefs of many Muslims).

    Perversion and Confusion

Have we come back to the perversion and confusion of the “Roman Times”? At the peak of the Empire, the Apostle Paul wrote, "to all that are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints".… The finely balanced message contained in this letter is desperately needed today. Paul's terminology is under continual attack. Satan and his cohorts attempt to redefine the vocabulary of God and "meddle with every doctrine" (Proverbs 18:1). The doctrines of faith and grace are under attack!

    Total dependence on God

Faith and Grace are central to the believer. The faith of a true believer is not just a “head” knowledge of worldly facts. A believer's faith is a sustained “heart” commitment to total dependence upon God. Grace is much more than “unmerited favor"; it is the power of God to change and transform us so that in Christ, we may overcome sin, the flesh, the world, and the devil.

  • The purpose of ‘Millions of Miracles’ is not nearly so much to present something new and earth shattering as to present the contrast between creationism and evolutionism in vividly clear and understandable terminology. In it’s pages the average reader cannot miss the stark reality of contrast between the perverted lies of Satan entwined into the propaganda of evolutionism over against the pristine purity of the power of our Creator, demonstrated in His majestic creation (in spite of the fact that this earth is under the curse of sin and death). Any reader, teen or adult, who can read will soon easily understand the stark reality that the religion of evolutionism is much more about sex than science. Several avid evolutionists have admitted that they chose to believe evolutionism because they didn’t want to have God interfering with their sexual preferences. Rick has spent many hours at academic symposiums with scientists, philosophers and professors where the fog of academic jargon obscured the reality of the subjects being discussed. This book cuts through the fog and exposes the truth!   For any donation, you can receive this resource. Put your donation amount in the box below.
  • This is an in-depth look at practical and prophetic meanings in the book of Esther. Esther, representing the morning star, is part of a symbolic story of how the people of God triumph after an evil force (Haman) obtains the ring of power and sets a date to completely destroy the people of God. The Lord places the story of Esther in the Bible as a special prophecy regarding the end times we live in and the imminent destruction of evil.

  • What would cause a serious minded civil engineer, a graduate from the University of Minnesota; to give up his successful career, sell all of his possessions and move his family with three small children to a primitive (almost Stone Age) tribe of indigenous people? In 1964, Chad Stendal took this leap of faith which landed him in the high mountains of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in the country of Colombia, South America. He was not there to change their culture; instead he offered them real physical assistance in the form of medical and practical concern for their wellbeing, which ushered in what they themselves would later call "The Golden Years".

  • I love a good fight. When unjustly attacked, I have learned to seek the guidance and leadership of the Holy Spirit and retaliate by Overcoming Evil with Good. There is a huge difference between a Peacemaker and a Pacifist! This Battle Plan for spiritual warfare, gleaned from the life and message of Jesus, especially the Sermon on the Mount and the Beatitudes, was on my heart even before I was kidnapped by terrorists and held hostage under extreme conditions in 1983. Since then, thousands of missionaries, pastors, and other Christians have been kidnapped, murdered, or forced to flee from their places of ministry in rural Colombia. Had these Christians known and understood this battle plan for spiritual warfare, they could have been victorious instead of prematurely suffering defeat. Many who did choose to remain in the path of ever present danger have rallied around this message. A thriving underground church is multiplying in a huge area (about the size of North Korea) in the south and east of Columbia where Bibles, church buildings, formal ministry, and even house meetings have been prohibited for more than 25 years. Severe persecution in rural Colombia has actually served to bring real Christians together in deepening Christian relationships, identify the true church, and cleanse believers from corruption. This has been possible because of the remnant that has been chosen to fight the good fight of faith.

  • Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity (Ecclesiastes 1:2)
What if we have it wrong? What if happiness is not found in having a better paying job, a wife and three children, knowing the right people, or even going to church? What is the secret of successful living? After getting more gold, wives, fine houses, and wisdom than any other man on earth, King Solomon discovered the secret. The book of Ecclesiastes is not as much a book of lament for himself as it is a message for the people, for us. Having attained it all, King Solomon wants to leave us with his final conclusions. Let him show you how to store up treasures in heaven, treasures that surpass even those of him who gathered all things under the sun. The Philosophy of King Solomon explores Solomon's wisdom, the folly of man's ways, and the still-unfolding prophecy found in the rich book of Ecclesiastes.

  • The Lord showed me over 40 years ago that walking under the guidance of the Holy Spirit meant that all our decisions, including the smallest ones should be initiated or at least approved by the Holy Spirit. You will see how this works out in actual life by reading this book. By learning to hear God's voice through the Spirit, circumstances, and the Scriptures, you can find out God's will for your life. By following the Spirit, God has enabled our whole family to stay alive working in the most dangerous part of one of the most dangerous countries on earth. We are presently working in the 'no-man's land' between the right-wing, paramilitary, left-wing guerrillas, and the drug mafia. Our lives are in constant danger. Over 40 rounds of automatic weapons fire has been shot at me. The Lord has directed us when to move, what to say when confronted, etc.

Prayer is the home of the burning heart. Here we find that we are known, seen, understood, allowed, and called. We are called to intimacy and intercession, but it doesn’t end there, prayer upends the whole of our lives, in the best of ways. Our work is simply to do our part: to come. We come before our Father in heaven with intent, and we learn to call this prayer.
This book has been created to come alongside followers of Jesus wherever this finds you. You are not alone.
Through our prayers and living faithfully together the message of Jesus continues to spread a great light.

  • And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. – John 17:3
A commentary on the gospel of John and the three epistles of John. The writings of John have a very special focus on God the Father. Many people who know Jesus, or claim to know him, have a limited or nonexistent personal knowledge of God the Father. It is, of course, essential for us to know Jesus, but his fervent desire is that we may also know the Father so intimately that we can ask him for whatsoever we will in Jesus’ name and our prayers may be granted. By the Holy Spirit, we can have such deep and intimate communion with Jesus and the Father, that seeing our love for one another, everyone shall know that we are his disciples (John 13:35).

  • Still bearing fruit in old age. Psalms 92:14 This book contains the exuberant testimonies of many individuals who received creative miracles, healings, and deliverance from demons. These happenings changed the lives of people and nations. This book also addresses the way in which unforgiveness can control emotions in a vice-like grip, in a prison without bars, allowing unhealthy thoughts to dominate your mind. Unforgiveness is a contributing factor in opening the door to physical and mental health problems. This was a controlling factor in my life until forgiveness according to the Word unlocked the door, like an emotional shower, cleansing and freeing the entrapped soul. It can do the same for you. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free. The author has been an ambassador of peace to many nations for more than thirty years. In 2005 the author gave a prophecy from the Lord that changed the constitution of Colombia. In this book, you’ll see how even satanic-controlled guerrillas in Colombia received creative miracle healings, were delivered of demons, and accepted Jesus. If they ask “who gave you the authority to heal the sick and cast out demons,” do you know the answer? His name is Jesus.

  • The book of Acts presents the epic explosion of the gospel after the Lord Jesus Christ returned to heaven to sit at the right hand of God. The apostles received the Holy Spirit with real, visible, and powerful results. There was none of today's straining to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit, or of "practicing" the gifts. Instead, the move of the Holy Spirit was a vivid demonstration of great power and wonders, and people were forced to either embrace the gospel or reject it completely. So clearly was the line being drawn, that once, only a single sentence was uttered by the apostle Paul before he was struck on the mouth by his enemy. So sure was the apostle Paul of his calling that not only did he not fear death for the sake of Christ, but he actually pressed forward into situations where death was the predicted result. In this study of Acts chapters 8 through 28, Russell Stendal analyzes the prerequisites and condition of the apostles before this all could take place. He expounds on the need to have a genuinely clean heart in order to do what the Lord wants to do that is over and above what seems right to us. Stendal provides the definition of names of people and places to reveal deeper truths behind all that was taking place, and he clarifies often-controversial portions of this important book of the Bible. Are you ready to have the line drawn in the sand of your life?

  • Have you ever been hated? While many Christians know only freedom and safety, others do not. Your freedom isn't guaranteed. In fact, Matthew 10:22 says we will be hated because of Christ. Do you have what it takes to be hated and still follow the Lord's commandment to love your enemies? The Lord will soon return for a bride having not spot or wrinkle or any such thing. To be that bride, our flesh must be submitted to the Lord's chastening, which may come through the hands of men. The author knows about persecution, having been kidnapped five times by Marxist guerrillas, twice by right-wing paramilitary death squads, and put in jail once by the government. He lives in constant danger even today, but lives to share the gospel with those who hate him. Learn from him how to fully embrace the Lord's will, even though you or your family may be persecuted. Learn how to triumph, though outwardly you will be ridiculed, beaten, and even killed for standing for the Lord.

  • The book of Job fits chronologically between Genesis and Exodus describing events that took place more than one hundred and fifty years before Moses wrote the Pentateuch. Job was the first book to be written in fully developed Hebrew and is undoubtedly one of the first books in the history of mankind. Out of fifty-six references to Satan in Scripture fifteen occur in Job. God chose to enter into a wager with Satan, with all of heaven looking on, regarding whether or not Job would remain faithful to God even if Satan were allowed to destroy Job’s possessions and even his health. This caused a situation on earth that did not fit any of the politically correct philosophy that had developed after the flood. In the end Satan, along with his cruel tactics, subtle deception, and even his system for world domination is completely exposed. Much of the book, however, is written in code that is prophetic of what is happening and about to happen today.

For easier study, the scriptures are included inline with the commentary. The book of Proverbs has to do with acquiring the understanding and wisdom to interpret parables and the words and enigmas of the wise (many of which are prophetic). It especially uses contrast as a method of making its point on multiple levels.

  • The darkness that will come upon the people of God at the beginning of the day of the Lord shall not be the same as the affliction that came upon her when Jesus came the first time. The end of the age of grace will not be as dark as the end of the age of the law because the [Gentile] people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; those that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined. Yes, it’s true that great apostasy has engulfed much of Western Europe and seems to be making quite a bit of headway in North America. But what about places (to name a few) such as China, Iran, Egypt, Venezuela, Cuba, Brazil, Colombia, Africa, and even India, where the gospel is surging? Most of the end-time harvest is taking place under great adversity and persecution. So, for now it can be said, "As thou hast multiplied the nation [the people of God], thou hast not increased the joy." (Isaiah 9:3) But the day of the Lord will be the biggest game-changer ever seen in human history. For those among the people of God who have clean hearts when Jesus returns, "They shall rejoice before thee as they rejoice in the harvest and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil" (Isaiah 9:3), even as all the kingdoms of this world crumble and come down.

  • Peter made all the classical, Christian mistakes. He spoke before thinking, lacked faith, and even denied the Lord Jesus Christ. But Peter had a moldable, open heart, and the Lord knew it. All the mistakes Peter made helped him understand what other Christians face, and his writings both warn and encourage readers today. Too many of today's religious entities and Christian individuals are functioning on spiritual autopilot, rarely pausing to pray in earnest and seek the Lord's will for their lives. Peter says if we lack the things of the Lord, we are blind and walk by feeling the way with our hands (2 Peter 1:9). His writings serve as an eye-opener for those who want to live for the Lord completely and without reservation.

  • The gospel of Mark speaks of the Son of God who will soon return and manifest an incorruptible kingdom that differs greatly from the kingdoms of men. When Jesus said that his kingdom is not of this world, some were very disillusioned. They did not understand that Jesus came to announce a very different kingdom, which he started by planting an incorruptible word (for he is the living Word of God). Over the long history of the church, many have made and are still making tragic mistakes as they attempt to take over the corrupt kingdoms of this world in the name of God. Jesus was ordained by God and approved by God. He had no human credentials, no certificates from Herod or the Sanhedrin or the high priest, and he gave no written diplomas to his apostles. At the Last Supper, Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me, and he that receives me receives him that sent me (John 13:20).

  • Throughout the long history of the church, men have searched in vain to discover the ideal model for the corporate structure of the church. No hierarchy is clearly spelled out in the Scriptures except what the Spirit says through Paul in the letter to the Corinthians or the Ephesians. Nevertheless, throughout the age of the church, many individuals and groups involved in wars and with blood on their hands have not hesitated to attempt to build the temple of the Lord in the form of a given denomination, group, or organized movement. These attempts resulted in building dead monuments instead of joining living stones that would be a light unto the nations. Man measures success according to the criteria of this world, the number of participants, or some other outward measurement, while God measures success by righteousness in the heart and obedience to His Word by those who have learned His ways.

You will be challenged and inspired by the results of one man who went where the Lord led, with little regard for himself. In 1868 Reverend Egerton Ryerson Young was pastoring a thriving Methodist church in Hamilton, Ontario. He and his wife Elizabeth were married in December of that year. A few days after their marriage God called them to serve as missionaries among the Cree and Saulteaux Indians at Norway House, and in the North-West Territories north of Lake Winnipeg. By Canoe and Dog Train is Reverend Young's own account of the adventures, blessings, and hardships he and his family experienced while sharing the gospel with the Indian people of Canada's northland.

  • What, exactly, does the tabernacle of David represent? In the new covenant there is only one mediator between God and man: this is the Lord Jesus Christ the living Word of God, and he is presently seated upon a heavenly throne, high above all things (Psalm 138:2). The ark of the covenant is a representation of Jesus Christ and of how our reconciliation with God the Father is made possible. The tabernacle of David depicts the heavenly realm touching the earth and is a living, prophetic parable of how we may come into a direct and personal relationship with God.

When a remnant left Babylon and returned to Jerusalem bearing the vessels of the Lord, they restored the altar, laid the foundation, and rebuilt the house of the Lord. The book of Nehemiah, however, is in a different setting. Years have gone by and things are no longer well in Jerusalem. The “wall” is broken down and the “gates” are burned with fire.God’s people are at the mercy of their enemies, and no one can tell who is in and who is out. Affliction, reproach, confusion, and disorder prevail. Sound familiar?Nehemiah means, “the Lord comforts.” We know that the Comforter is the Holy Spirit. In addition to being historically accurate, the book of Nehemiah is a prophetic parable, not only of what we call the end times, but also of the coming kingdom age of righteousness and justice. In this living parable, Nehemiah represents the earnest – or down payment – of the Holy Spirit that was poured out at Pentecost and the transition into the fullness of the Spirit promised for the time of the end.

  • Is The Bible Without Any Errors? There are at least six basic questions which every human being asks himself (or herself). This is part of what distinguishes us as human beings—animals do not ask such questions. Here are the questions:
    • Where did I come from? (Origin)
    • Why am I here? (Purpose)
    • Who am I really? (Identity)
    • Is there meaning to life? (Reality)
    • Where am I going? (Destiny)
    • How do I know what is right and what is wrong? (Morality)

  • Today we see an increasing number of headlines focused on Evangelicalism and Christian Nationalism, bringing the matter of being Christian under great scrutiny. As Christians, we must ask ourselves whether we can be scrutinized and found desirable by both God and man. Many who profess to be Christians might say this is impossible, but is that really what the Scriptures teach? Man’s wrath is very different from God’s wrath. God is slow to anger. On a human level in the world around us, individuals and even entire groups are continually riled up and insulting one another. None of this effectuates the righteousness of God. James 1:21 entreats us to leave all uncleanness and remains of malice and receive with meekness the word ingested within you, which is able to cause your souls to be saved. God has the purpose for his children to be examples to those around them. The books of James and Jude have much to say regarding what this should look like and how it is accomplished, which is to receive the wisdom prepared for us. Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning. (James 1:16-17)

  • In this booklet there are many insights into Old Testament passages and also who we are in Christ.  Jesus said that he didn't come to bring peace but a sword. When we enter into covenant with God on His terms, things will get much, much worse instead of better for our natural man. The Spirit of God will begin to slice and to cut away our old appetites, plans, ambitions, feelings, and desires. When the red blood of Jesus is applied to us, His death becomes our death just as His life becomes our life. The two-fold purpose of the ministry of the Spirit of God becomes clearer. On the one hand, He is out to cut down and destroy the Old Man that we inherited from our ancestor, Adam. On the other hand, it is His purpose to bless and prosper us in the New Man in Christ until we come to maturity (perfection).
